Transarc DC 400 E
Designed for welding in environments which make higher than normal demands
on robustness and operational reliability of the welding machine, the Transarc
DC 400E meets these demands with a strengthened frame, immersion resistant enamelling
of the transformer, and inductor and waterproof switches for the control of
MMA, TIG welding and arc air gouging functions.
Infinitely variable, thyristor controlled settings over the entire current
range contribute to the DC 400E's stable, spatter free arc and easily controlled
weld pool. The high open circuit voltage ensures excellent arc striking assisted
by the built-in "starting surge" facility.
