With this TIG Welder an arc is formed between a no consumable tungsten electrode and the metal being welded. Gas is fed through the torch to shield the electrode and the molten weld pool. If a filler wire is used, it is added to the weld pool separately.
The benefits of TIG welding are the superior quality welds. The welds can be made with or without filler metal and there is a precise control of welding heat variables. Using this unit is spatter free and runs with a low distortion.
The CEBORA TIG Sound DC 2340/T control panel has several advanced functions including the digital ammeter and voltmeter. It has a Spot Weld Timer and Full Pulse Facility. The advantage of this versatile unit is the capability to store up to nine custom welding programs.
