It requires very little or no maintenance because there are no brushes.
Every generator in the EAS series is specially pre-wired at the manufacturing stage to incorporate a plug-in method. This allows the generator to be connected to a MOSA EAS automatic mains failure panel that can be installed to the mains input and supplies the means to transfer power from the mains to the generator if a power failure occurs. It then shifts back when mains power is reinstated. This design feature enables portable and standby power in circumstances where mains power is unavailable or disrupted.
The MOSA GE 6000 SX/GS-EAS Super Silenced Generator Set has a reliable air cooled YANMAR L100N (4-stroke) diesel engine with an output of 6.5kw (8.8hp) and a running potential speed of 3000 rpm . It benefits from an electric start and an added feature of an overload protection. As well as a 12V battery there is a battery charge indicator, engine shut down oil indicator, low fuel indicator and an integral oil alert.
The tank capacity is 23 litres and has a running time with a 75% load of 17.5 hours. Also, on this GE 6000 is an hour counter, central lifting eye, circuit breaker and thermal shut-off. The super silenced canopy is lockable if desired and meets all the current EEC noise and safety regulations.
