The Murex Tradestig AC 220A have a Power Factor Correction PFC circuit. This allows the welder to be used on a 16A fuse . The PFC function protects the welder from mains voltage fluctuation and allows it to be used safely with a generator. The wider working radius means is can operate from extended main cables up to 100m. The control panel have all the necessary funtions for DC and AC/DC Tig and MMA Welding and have several advanced functions such as, Pulse Tig, AC Balance and AC Frequency to control arc with. You are also able to control electrode preheating, for different electrode profiles and improved starts.
In both DC and AC modes this AC/DC Tig welder provides excellent arc strike and a consistent stable arc.
Materials up to 5mm can be welded.
