Murex Sabre arc 351i Plasma
"If others can't cut it, then this new Sabre-arc from Murex willUtilising only 230V single phase electricity and a supply of compressed air the superb new Sabre-arc 351i can clean cut 12mm mild steel or 8mm of aluminium. Delivering up to 35A cutting current at 40% duty cycle the 351i is combined with the excellent Murex PT-50 plasma torch to provide a powerful and portable metal cutting system that's simple, rugged and reliable. The PT-50 torch has a unique "air check" system which, in combination with air-flow sensing circuitry in the 351i, ensures operator safety when checking or servicing the consumables in the head. Its long life consumables give the highest cut quality and thickness capability per unit cutting current. • 12mm metal cutting from a 230V single phase supply • Portable and powerful, weighs only 15kg > • Uses the superb PT-50 plasma torch (4.5m) • Long consumable life, narrow quality cuts • 35A at 40% duty, 22A at 100%, continuous cutting of 6mm steel plate • Continuously variable cutting current • Drag or stand-off cutting • "Air-check" Safety The Sabre-arc 351i power source utilises high efficiency inverter technology and weighs only 15kg. It provides precise control of cutting current from 15-35A so that, for thin sheet work, the current can be reduced to the optimum level or the narrowest cuts For full power operation the supply to the unit should be fused at 30A slow however a 13A supply can be used for cutting up to 6mm steels at 25A cutting current.
